Workshop Mechanic (Prep Tech)

A NEW opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Workshop Mechanic (Prep Tech) at our Livingston site.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing cars for retail sale.
• Liaise with customers and Sales team to resolve any issues.
• Understand and work to customer standards.
• Removing and refitting parts to ensure repairs are to a very high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
• Maintain a tidy and professional working environment.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
• Good knowledge and understanding of multi brand cars and vans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
