A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Workshop Controller at our DAF Willenhall site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repair.
- Providing feedback to customers on their service or repair, including pricing of additional work when required, sending estimates, explaining the reasons fully and competently.
- Managing all staff within the department, communicating instructions to technicians and ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner.
- Various other administrative duties.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs or additional repairs to customers.
- Customer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations and an ability to up-sell our services and products where appropriate.
- Strong IT skills.
- Awareness of warranty guidelines, service intervals, etc.
- Be organised, efficient and able to multi-task efficiently.
- Be flexible, energised and a team player.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
