Vauxhall Remains The Top Choice For Electric Vehicles In Retail And Motability Markets In 2024
According to the latest registration figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), Vauxhall retains its top position as the leading electric vehicle brand in both retail and Motability channels.
The continued popularity of the Corsa Electric and Mokka Electric models has contributed to Vauxhall’s strong performance. Corsa Electric led as the best-selling electric supermini in October, keeping it at the top of its segment in year-to-date sales.
In October, 24.7% of Vauxhall’s car sales were electric, while their van sales ranked second overall year-to-date.
James Taylor, Managing Director at Vauxhall, commented, “Vauxhall is dedicated to making electric vehicles accessible to all, ensuring that every model in our line-up will have an electric variant by year-end. As a leader among retail and Motability customers, our Corsa Electric and Mokka Electric models continue to attract drivers across the country.”
“The introduction of the New Frontera also marks a first in offering both electric and petrol hybrid options at the same price, a milestone in our mission in achieving accessible electric mobility.”
