Steve Crick, Parts Director - TRP Parts UK Special Recognition Award

Steve was recognised by DAF for his service to the Dealer Network and that of Greenhous in the form of a TRP lifetime achievement award. This award was the first of its kind and awarded in line with DAF’s TRP 30-year celebration of TRP Parts. Steve unfortunately, couldn't make the awards night, therefore a college and close friend Dave Moss, Group Parts Manager accepted this on his behalf.

Steve started out at a Leyland dealer and moved to the DAF dealer in 1987 and has been a big support of the TRP brand from the very start - 30 years ago! Steve worked his way up through the business very quickly and is a very valued and influential member of the now Greenhous Group

Steve has also been a long-standing member of the DAF parts Panel support and influenced many changes in his time and made so much happen! This has lasted almost 2 1/5 decades, to which we believe to be the longest ever serving member.

Over his years Steve has received many, many well-deserved awards, although he will always say that it was a 'team effort'.

“Steve's dedication and commitment to the Dealer network, DAF and Greenhous Commercials has significantly contributed to diversification and growth in that of DAF parts Sales, especially TRP, DAF’s all makes range of aftermarket product. His council has been regularly sourced over the years by our colleagues at DAF given his Brand loyalty, knowledge of the industry and his passion related to the business. It was a privilege and an honour to have collected this award on his behalf that led to an emotional account of our working relationship to date and that of the friendship I hold dear"

At a huge loss to the Greenhous Group, Steve's official last day with Greenhous was today as he starts his well-deserved retirement. What a way to end his working years by receiving such a special award!

On behalf of everyone at Greenhous we would like to firstly, congratulate Steve on his award and also thank him for everything he has done for the Greenhous Group and for not only being a valued team member but a friend, not just in our parts department but, across the group. We wish Steve a happy retirement, spending some much-needed quality time with his family! You will be dearly missed Steve, but I'm sure you will keep in touch and also a wide eye on the business ha ha.
