Purchase Ledger Clerk

Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team.

Salary: Depending on experience

Hours:  Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

You will receive training to enable you to:

• To register a large quantity of invoices 100+ per day.
• Post invoices to match the GRNI.
• Dealing with day-to-day queries from suppliers.
• To ensure invoices are referred to the correct manager for authorisation.
• To carry out checks on supplier bank details to make sure they are correct.
• To maintain our approved supplier listing.
• To produce monthly statement reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
• To raise payments to suppliers and submit the payment run on time.
• To clear all parts, inter departmental transactions.
• To produce quarterly reconciliations of the Paccar account.
• Reception cover as required.
• Perform any ad hoc duties within the finance department.

• Have previous experience in the Purchase Ledger Clerk role.
• Kerridge experience desirable.
