Panel Beater

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Panel Beater at our Cold Meece Refurbishment and Defleet site.

Salary: Potential earnings of £36,000 per annum

Hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strip and re-fit all makes of cars.
• Pull and dress panels in preparation for filler work.
• Rectify all sizes of repairs.
• Work with different materials, such as plastics and metals.
• Ensure that the preparation of all cars leaving the Bodyshop is completed to a high standard.
• Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater in a similar environment.
• Understand repair techniques for all makes of cars.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
