Nissan UK secure £49m funding from supplier JATCO

JATCO, global automatic transmission manufacturer, has launched a new manufacturing plant closely located to Nissan UK in Sunderland, aiding Nissan in their groundbreaking EV36Zero plan.

The premium facility located in the International Advanced Manufacturing Park was officially opened by Tomoyoshi Sato, JATCO CEO. The opening was attended by Government Minister for Investment Baroness Gustafsson OBE, Sunderland City Council Leader, Micheal Mordey and North East Combined Authority Mayor Kim McGuiness.
