A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as an MET Technician / Bodyshop Technician at our Cold Meece Refurbishment and Defleet site.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
What you'll be doing:
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items.
- Undertake the panel repair or replacement damaged motor vehicles following manufactures instructions.
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults which may have occurred during the repair process.
- Refit any stripped panels and trims which were removed to facilitate Bodyshop repairs.
- Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.
- Ensure all work is completed to high standard.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
What we need from you:
- Must have extensive experience to work on a wide range of makes and models of motor vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Health and safety and environmental awareness.
- Teamwork to support and accommodate requests.
- Focused and self-motivated.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
