Liam Smith | 20 Years at Greenhous DAF
Congratulations to Liam Smith at Greenhous Shrewsbury who is celebrating his 20-year work anniversary!
"Liam is a great inspiration for anyone wanting to join the business, Liam started his career with Greenhous as a technical apprentice back in 2004, he graduated from his apprenticeship in 2007 and then continued his learning completing his level 4 management training with City of Bristol college. After several years as a technician in 2014 Liam made the decision to work in a more administrative role and became a workshop controller, not wanting to stop his progression in 2017 Liam moved to the sales department and was very successful creating some great relationships with new and existing customers bringing in new sales and service business to the Shrewsbury operation. In 2021 another opportunity became available, and Liam became the service manager at the same site, using his previous experience as a technician this helped him adapt to his new role. Not wanting to slow down in 2024 Liam was appointed Dealer Principal for the Shropshire region but also continuing his service management duties. To see the progression made by Liam is fantastic and credit to his hard work and determination."
Liam added:
"I can't believe it's been 20 years since I started with Greenhous as a schoolboy leaver at 16 where I was lucky enough to get an apprenticeship as HGV technician. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working with great colleagues and customers who I class many as friends. I hope to continue the success we have had and make many more great moments over the next 20 years!"
