Kevin Ellis | 25 Years Service at Greenhous DAF
Kevin started at Greenhous in 1997 as a Parts Sales Executive bringing his existing knowledge gained from being in the motor trade since 1975.
“I have been involved in the motor trade since leaving school in 1975, training as a mechanic, achieving City & Guild standards, with Bradburn & Wedge in Wolverhampton. Following my training I progressed to run their vehicle hire fleet for another two years.
I then followed the Scania brand to Keltruck in West Bromwich where I worked for 15 years, eventually becoming group parts manager for the last 3 years of my employment there.
I joined Greenhous in 1997, very quickly realising that I would probably be with the company for a long time, as everything was done right from day one. Very early on I felt very welcome, and part of the team, where I helped to develop and progress the GTC all makes ranges of parts, for which we are renowned in the trade.
I have had continuous support all the way through from my management team and always had brilliant relationship with them. Our current parts sales team are also very supportive and brilliant to work alongside, and the daily banter and humour makes for a good working atmosphere between us.
My satisfaction and enjoyment in my job comes from the relationships I have with my customers, every one of them is different, and so is every day, but with the confidence of a first-class parts team behind you, any issues that arise are generally easier to resolve.
I look forward to my remaining time with Greenhous, as we all work together to further improve our services to our customers, and I thank everyone I worked with in the past, and present”
