HGV Driver/Yard Person - DAF Telford

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as an HGV driver and Yards person at our new DAF Service site in Stafford park, Telford which will be opening in march.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collection & delivery of customers vehicles in the local area.
• Road testing vehicles post repair.
• Loading & unloading vehicles for MOT preparation.
• Washing vehicles off for MOT preparation.
• Presenting vehicles for MOT preparation at the onsite ATF Lane.
• Looking after the ATF Lane on test days currently set at Monday and Thursday.
• Tidying up in the workshop and yard.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Full UK Driving Licence – with HGV Class 1.
• Forklift License preferred but not essential (training given for successful candidate).
• Previous experience in a driving role preferred but not essential.
