Vehicle Fitter/Technician/Electrician - Bulkrite, Shrewsbury
Hours: 8.00 am to 4.45 pm, Monday to Friday, with 45 minutes for lunch (unpaid) i.e. 40 hours per week.
Salary: £12.00 to £15.50 per hour depending on experience.
A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Vehicle Fitter/Technician/Electrician at Bulkrite, to carry out the repair and installation of commercial body components.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform repairs on auxiliary equipment, such as hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Install mechanic, hydraulic and electrical components on new vehicle bodies.
- Undertake appropriate training, when required.
What we need from you:
- Previous mechanical, hydraulic or electrical experience, with a preference for commercial vehicle or automotive experience.
- The ability to understand and comply with manufacturer repair or assembly procedures.
- Excellent health and safety awareness.
- Methodical with good planning and organisation skills.
- A recognised technician qualification or equivalent experience is essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Full driving licence.
- Good time management skills.
