Technical Supervisor – Greenhous Upper Heyford, Bicester

Hours: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday i.e. 42.5 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).

Salary: £28,000 per annum

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Technical Supervisor working from our site in Upper Heyford, supporting technical preparation and quality control.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

What you’ll be doing:

Workshop Planning

• Coordinate and plan vehicles into PDI, prioritised in delivery date order.
• Schedule vehicle preparation in relation to workshop and resource capacity.
• Manage additional requests ensuring completions are carried out in accordance with the fleet portal.
• Ensure targets are met ensuring preparations and quality standards are met.

Workshop / Resource Management

• Record, monitor and submit payroll entries (over-time recording).
• Manage uniform allocation.
• Submit and manage invoices and ensure they are recorded and submitted to finance.
• H&S – Ensure workshop facilities and equipment are compliant.
• Monitor and report workshop efficiencies.
• Deal with site exit issues, ensuring the fleet system is correctly updated.
• Deal with requests from the sales team (working with site management).

Quality

• Ensure vehicles are prepared in accordance with manufacture guidelines.
• Ensure all training records are up-to date.
• Coordinator warranty requests, ensuring manufacturer and fleet systems are updated.
• Manage parts allocations.

• Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
• Good organisational skills.
• Previous experience of system platforms.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience in supervising teams.
• Experience of working in a workshop environment.
