Security Officer - Greenhous Upper Heyford

Hours: Shift pattern – 4 days on - 4 days off (12-hour days) – 6.00 am – 6.00 pm

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Working from our site in Upper Heyford Oxford, supporting the safe guarding of the site and managing arrival and exiting vehicle traffic reporting to the Logistic Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring that only authorised personnel enter the site. This includes, visitors, haulers, internal and external Greenhous employees and agency.
• Ensuring all people entering the site have the appropriate H&S briefing, and wearing the relevant protective clothing.
• To make sure the site is secure and all times, checking security fencing and gates throughout the day.
• Check vehicles in and out of site, updating Greenhous fleet systems.
• Ensure that during times of closure or out of hours all vehicles and keys are secure.
• Manage out of hours vehicle request, based on instructions given by the site office.
• Ensure the visitors book is used, and updated daily.
• Liaise with drivers on a daily basis ensuring they are directed to the appropriate collection and drop off points.
• Store and manage keys as directed by site management.
• Monitor and analyzing CCTV camera footage.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Hand-over responsibilities to night security.
• Liaise with other security guards across the Greenhous Group.

• Good organisational skills.
• Security training and the relevant certification.
• Previous experience of system platforms.
• Good interpersonal skills.
