HGV Technician
DAF Birmingham
Salary up to £19.00 per hour + shift allowance + standby
Working hours: Two week shift pattern
• Week 1 Monday to Friday 6.00 am to 3.30 pm
• Week 2 Monday to Friday 12.30 pm to 10.00 pm
• 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at our Birmingham site to service and repair HGV vehicles to the highest of standards.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure
that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carry out service and repairs of commercial vehicles.
- The role would include attending breakdown call outs. Outside of working hours on a Rota basis.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a HGV Technician.
- A full Driving licence (HGV Driving licence would be beneficial, but is not essential).
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) would be beneficial, but is not
essential. - DAF experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Problem solver.
- Positive “can do” attitude.
- Team player.
- Clear communicator.
